 Hi! My name is Dan Sloan and I was a professional ceramicist in Portland, OR for several years. I got my start at Georgie’s and when I moved my practice into my home studio, my work really took off. I found that having my own space to create was enormously important for my artistic growth.

I’ve since retired from my compulsive mug making, but I strongly encourage YOU to make some great mugs, bowls, planters, etc.! I’m excited to offer affordable, high-quality pottery wheels to folks who are interested in making a go at a home studio to explore their craft.
